  • Therapy for Couples

Romantic relationships can rock your world. They can also feel stressful and dull when the thrill of early connection shifts into a checklist of life - work, parent, sleep, repeat. Relationship therapy offers up a safe place to explore your shared lack of spark, connection and trust, while moving you towards new and bolder ways of being together.

  • Therapy for Individuals

Trusting in others and your own ability to connect can be complicated in the context of past relationship hurts. In our work together, we'll explore how you learned to love and how this continues to loop in your relationships today. We’ll get clear on what you want and how to get it, honoring what you long for and what you need.

How I work

I specialize in supporting couples and individuals grow their capacity to connect. My approach is strength-based. Simply put, much of our work together will focus on mining the inner gold you already have that will help you truly thrive in relationships. I draw from different therapy models, including Attachment Theory, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), body-based and creative arts therapy approaches. You can learn more in the FAQ section below.

In our work together, we’ll explore how you learned to love. Most relationship struggles take root in normal, healthy adaptations to early life stress and trauma. When we develop relationship patterns and behaviors that no longer serve us as adults, we can wind up feeling isolated and stuck. We’ll take a look at existing strengths in current relationships as well as areas where you need some extra support in building your capacity for compassion, towards yourself and those you care about.
